Arshad elected IIA chief

Internal Audit of Pakistan Petroleum Limited's Manager Arshad Siddiqui was elected as President of the Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA), Karachi, in its annual general meeting here. The IIA, established in 1941, is an international professional association with world headquarters in Florida, United States.
The IIA has more than 108,000 members in 160 countries in the field of internal auditing, risk management, governance, internal control, information technology audit, education and security.
Those elected included Ausaf A. Kidwai of Caltex Oil as Senior Vice President, Saad Taiyab of BOC Pakistan as Vice President, Kamal Ahmed of ACE Insurance as Secretary and Intisar Usmani of Crescent Leasing as Treasurer.
The Board of Governors include Amir Raza Zaidi (ABN Amro), Zafar Sharif (Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates), Arif Sajwani (Aga Khan Ed. Service), Musharraf Khan (SBS), Ali Baig (Tapal Tea), Feroza Nabeel (State Bank), Shamim Anwer (Dewan Farooque Motors), Syed Kazim Raza (DHL) and Huma Pasha (Hub Power Co).-PR
