17 EoIs received for Peco land

The privatisation commission has received 17 Expressions of Interest (EoIs) for sale of land in blocks 'A' & 'B' owned by the Pakistan Engineering Company Limited (Peco), at Badami Bagh, Lahore on "as is where is basis" through competitive bidding process. This includes 10 parties for Block 'A' and 7 for Block 'B'.
For Block 'A' of Peco land, the parties are: Aqeel Karim Dhedhi Securities (Pvt) Limited; Bara Ghee Mills; Kohinoor Oil Mills Limited; Jamil Khan (Hino Rawalpindi Motors); Maghrib Development Corp (Pvt) Limited; Professional Associates & Dave Cross Architects; Nawaz Khan Trading Company; Sadaf Enterprises; Seatrade Group and Sukh Chayn Gardens (Pvt) Limited.
While for Block 'B', the parties are: Barrister Khawaja Tahseen/Asim Siddiqui Butt; Bara Ghee Mills; Kohinoor Oil Mills Limited; M. Jamil Khan (Hino Rawalpindi Motors); Nawaz Khan Trading Company; Sadaf Enterprises (Ship Breakers & Importers) and Sukh Chayn Gardens (Pvt) Limited.
The final date for bidding will be announced shortly and conveyed to parties participating in the process.
The land at Badami Bagh, Lahore has been offered in two lots - Block 'A' (159 Kanals, 7 Marlas and 207 sq. ft.) and Block B (100 Kanals, 12 Marlas and 144 sq. ft).
The plot is situated in the South of Lahore railway station and in the North of Badami Bagh railway station. This is a commercial area, accessible by roads and railway siding. The site is ideally located in the heart of thriving steel market of Badami Bagh. The Badami Bagh timber market is also in close proximity of the site.
