Arrangements finalised to celebrate Independence Day

All necessary arrangements have been finalised for celebrating Independence Day with usual enthusiasm and zeal in Sialkot, Daska, Pasrur and Sambrial tehsils of Sialkot district on August 14th.
All city shopping centres, commercial areas, bazaars and roads have been decorated with national flags, festoon of colourful buntings and fancy lights.
The sale of national flags, multi-coloured garlands, big portraits of Quaid-I-Azam and other national heroes is at its peak in the district.
Most of the government, semi-government, private offices and commercial buildings have been decorated with colourful lights and colourful buntings and presenting a festive look in Sialkot.
The daylong programmes would be started with special prayers for the solidarity, unity and prosperity of the country and for the early liberation of Indian held Kashmir in all mosques of the district.
On this occasion, special flag hoisting ceremony would be held under auspices of Sialkot Tehsil Municipal Administration (STMA) at Jinnah hall.
