I fully agree with the letter published in Business Recorder by Abdul Malik regarding encroachments on Alamgir Road opposite Alamgir Masjid, Bahadurababd, Karachi, which is increasing day by day which creates problems to the residents of the area.
Nowadays, Alamgir Welfare Trust has opened a Dawakhana for welfare purpose at Alamgir Masjid in which, round the, clock prostitute type women come at midnight, getting their own benefit as well as food throughout the day.
Poor person staying there the day creating inconvenience for the pedestrians, especially for ladies and school going children. The road is also occupied by new small B.B.Q/hotels with chairs/tables, which looks like a Machi market.
I request through your esteemed newspaper, the governor/high officials of the city government to remove the encroachments on Alamgir Road, badly affected due to heavy smoke, pollution and traffic jam.
