8,000 pirated CDs seized: one held

The Customs staff posted at Karachi International Airport has seized about 8,000 counterfeit pirated English CDs which were brought from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, by flight MH160 under rush tags. This was stated in a press release of Pakistan Customs, Preventive Collectorate, Custom House, here on Sunday.
It said that the CDs so recovered accordingly seized with travelling documents of Zeeshan Tanveer holding Pakistani passport No KA-449323 who had come to collect his baggage.
The passenger has also been arrested on the charge of smuggling of pirated CDs.
It is yet another big seizure of smuggling of CDs foiled by Airport Customs staff in this week.
Further investigation is in process, the Customs press release added.
