US cocoa futures ended weaker on Thursday, pressured by light speculative selling amid an improving world crop outlook, traders said.
The New York Board of Trade's benchmark December contract slid $9, or 0.6 percent, to settle at $1,403 a tonne, after trading from a three-day low of $1,398 to $1,422.
March eased $7 to end at $1,435 a tonne, while more-distant contracts shed $6 to $8.
