Unidentified armed dacoits looted Rs 35,000 cash and a cell phone in two robberies while a new Suzuki car was lifted in the city last night, district police said on Wednesday.
Muhammad Anwar a private firm salesman told Qadirpur Raan Police that after making recovery from company's clients he was returning to office when he was intercepted by three marauders riding a car and was deprived of the cash at gunpoint.
Hamid Bashir Colony informed the Mumtazabad Police that four outlaws snatched his cellular phone when he was returning home after shopping.
In a theft case, a new Suzuki car (ML-4012) owned by Choudhry Muhammad Iqbal was lifted from Sher Shah road when he parked the vehicle outside his friend's office.
The police after registering the cases started investigations.
