A Station House Officer (SHO), Shera Kot Wednesday produced a copy of FIR before Lahore High Court, registered against Sub-Inspector Tahir Virk and ASI Javed Ahmad for keeping and torturing a citizen in illegal confinement at the police station.
Earlier, LHC directed the SHO to register a case against the cops involved in illegal confinement and produce the FIR to the court on Wednesday.
The petition filed by Bilqees Bibi through Rana Muhammad Hanif advocate for recovery of her son, Shahbaz and daughter Kiran Iqbal from the police.
Earlier, the court bailiff informed the court that he raided the scene and found Shahbaz in a hotel in the custody of ASI Javed while he was informed that Kiran had been sent to jail as her arrest was also mentioned in the 'roznamcha.'
The court taking serious notice of torture and keeping a man in illegal custody directed the SHO to conduct medical examination of the detainee and submit the report.
