KPP and Haq Parast to jointly field candidate for Karachi Nazim

The Khushhal Pakistan Panel (KPP) and the Haq Parast group would jointly field candidate for the post of nazim of City District Government Karachi (CDGK). Sindh chief minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim stated this while talking to reporters at the Chief Minister House here on Saturday.
"We will Inshallah jointly field candidate but details in this respect are yet to be determined," the chief minister added. He said leaders of the PML and MQM are in contact with reference to Karachi.
The chief minister said our central leaders, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Mushahid Hussain and leaders of the MQM would hold negotiations in this respect.
However, any agreement in this regard has not been finalised as yet nor there is any commitment to this respect, he added.
The chief minister said an announcement would be made when an understanding is reached. To a question, he said in Karachi the MQM enjoys majority and as such it should have a free hand, Replying to another question, the chief minister said a decision regarding candidate for Karachi would be made after doing required working in this respect.
