Vaccination programme to protect children from diseases

Under the new health policy, poor people are being provided modern treatment facilities, while a co-ordinated programme of vaccination will be initiated at basic health centres to protect the children from diseases.
This was stated by Punjab Minister for Health, Dr Tahir Ali , while addressing different delegations of people belonging to various walks of life here on Saturday. He said that the government has started many projects for the provision of modern healthcare facilities to women and children, especially in far-flung areas of the province.
Under a special health programme that is being started at district level, various teams of health dept will conduct survey of every district so that proper medical facilities could be provided to the patients.
