Dacoits go on rampage in Faisalabad

Faisalabad and its adjoining areas remained in grip of dacoits, who have looted two buses, snatched three motorcycles during last 24 hours. According to details, a marriage party was returning to a village 534-GB Jaranwala Police Station, which was looted by four-armed dacoits. They snatched cash, mobiles and watches etc from the members of marriage party at gunpoint and fled away in darkness.
In another incident, a passenger bus was looted near a Village 120-JB by armed dacoits, which was coming Faisalabad from Lahore. Aurangzab and other Passengers stated that four armed dacoits were travelling in the bus and had got tickets for Faisalabad. According to an estimate, ornaments of worth Rs 200,000 and other valuables were snatched by armed dacoits made good their escape by Aerial firing.
In peoples colony, a Suzuki van was taken away by unknown persons late Saturday. Police have registered a case on the report of one Zaheer Ahmad.
In other incidents, armed dacoits snatched three motorcycle and cash and other valuables from various places in different incidents.
Muhammad Aslam, a local contractor was robbed of Rs 28,000 near Chak 208-GB on Jaranwala road, when he was going to home after his duty.
In Lal Mills Chowk Factory area, unknown thieves barged in the shop of Abdul Razzaq and looted cloth of worth Rs 1.6 million. Factory area police have arrested four employees of this shop and investigation is in progress.
In other incidents, armed dacoits looted five houses at various places and snatched a tractor also from its owner.
