The opposition Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) and the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) on Thursday appealed to the masses, transporters, traders and people from other walks of life to make the strike successful on Friday.
The strike has been called against price-hike, alleged rigging in the recent Local Government elections and Pakistan's first official contact with Israel.
