Arrangements for Shab-i-Barat reviewed

Caretaker Gulshan-e-Iqbal Syed Fazeel Bukhari on Friday visited various graveyards of the Town to take stock of the arrangements made for the eve of Shab-i-Barat and issued directives for removal of bushes.
He was accompanied by TO Infrastructure Sami Khan, DTO Solid Waste Nafees Ahmed, DTO M&E Khalid Hashmi and other staff.
The caretaker visited graveyards situated in Essa Nagri, Azim Khan Gabol, Natha Khan, Limo Goth and Pir Bukhari and reviewed arrangements of lights and cleanliness to ensure that visitors on the eve of Shab-i-Barat may not face any hardship.
He issued directives for early completion of arrangements. The DTO Solid Waste, on the occasion, briefed the caretaker about the progress made so far in connection with the ongoing cleanliness drive in Gulshan Town.
He said 250 tons of debris and 300 tons of garbage have been removed from various union councils of the Town while a special team has been formed for undertaking cleanliness work in the graveyards.
