The NWFP government has decided to file a review petition in the Supreme Court regarding the apex court's objections on Hasba bill, it is learnt. The NWFP government will move the apex court and later after its review and again will bring the bill in the Assembly for passage.
The bill in question was recently discussed by the Law Ministry and various legal experts.
The meeting reviewed the observations made by the Supreme Court and decided to attend to the observations before the bill is again brought before the provincial assembly.
The NWFO chief minister has emphasised that every possible effort will be made to bring the bill in conformity with the injunctions of Islam.
