Second international CNG exhibition from September 21

Second International Conference and Exhibition, CNG Conex 2005 will be held on September 21-22 at Lahore with the objective to remote CNG as an alternative and environment friendly fuel in the country and promotion of locally manufactured CNG equipment.
Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, Ahmad Waqar will inaugurate, this was told by chief organiser CNG-Conex 2005 and President National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) M. Naeem Qureshi.
The conference is being organised by CNG Station Owners Association of Pakistan (CSOAP) and NFEH while the Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan (HDIP) are patronising the mega event, he added.
The theme of the conferences is "Production of CNG Equipment in Pakistan and Globally".
It is aimed to provide latest information to delegates about the infrastructural development and technical advancements made in the CNG sector world-wide (Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Canada and USA) and particularly in Asian countries including China, Iran, Bangladesh, India, Japan and Pakistan (both by government and private sector), he maintained.
He said the conference would discuss the emerging tends, production and processing tolls, business opportunities and challenges ahead in next five years by taking advantages form the "best practices" presented by local and international experts form CNG-NGV industries.
Whereas, the two-day conference and exhibition will run parallel to the conference and will attract ever 5000 individual and corporate visitors.
The exhibition will display the products related to CNG-NGV.
Exhibitors and participants include stakeholder form CNG industry, including manufactures of CNG kits and association, importers and marketers of CNG equipment. (Dispensers, compressors, generators and fuel station etc), OMCs, auto-manufactures of NGVs, NGV conversion centers, suppliers and distributors of natural gas, environmentalists, safety installation technical experts, government officials, banks, DFIs, (Leasing and Insurance Companies), local and international delegates, he said.
Through this excellent platform of international and networking opportunity, participants will share multiple expertise, industrial knowledge, understanding business environment, pricing and marketing strategies training opportunities, implementation of safety procedures and transfer of latest technology possibilities for the betterment of CNG industry in Pakistan and millions of people using CNG-NGV world-wide, he added.
