Quaid's death anniversary observed

The 57th death anniversary of the great leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was observed across the country on Sunday with the pledge to follow in his footsteps and transform Pakistan into progressive and enlightened country.
The day was dawned with special prayers in Mosques for the Quaid-e-Azam soul and progress and prosperity of the country. Various organisations chalked programmes and seminaries in which speakers highlighted different aspects of the Quaid's life.
Special "Dua" was also offered to seek blessings of Almighty Allah for the departed soul of the founder of Pakistan across the country.
The great leader and the founder of Pakistan was died on 11th September 1948 in Karachi after prolong illness and stayed his last days of life in the city of Ziyarat (Quetta).
Print media published special edition highlighting the life and sacrifices of the national leader for the creation of separate homeland for the Muslim community of sub-continent.
