The 14th Palmolive Sindh Women's Swimming Championship is once again under way to create waves and set new records in the portfolio of these talented young swimmers.
The increasing number of participants is encouragement enough for the organisers to shoulder this responsibility year after year. Seeing the climb in the level of participation to approximately 280 swimmers this year, new competitive categories have been added to the existing list of "Under 10", "Under 12", "Under 14", "Under 16" and the "Open Group".
Once again, the bar has been raised to motivate these swimmers to strive and build their talent from a young age by introducing an "Under 8" category. Many of the top contenders from previous championships have used this event as a platform to move into the international arena, and are participating in the 4th Islamic Women's Games to be held in Tehran, Iran from September 22 till September 29.
The 14th Palmolive Sindh Women's Swimming Championship will be held on Saturday (September 17) and Sunday (September 18) at the Karachi Gymkhana, and is open to only female spectators.-PR
