Shujaat meets Shaukat

Centenary celebrations of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML) as well as political and national matters were discussed during a meeting between Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and PML president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, who met him at the Prime Minister house here on Sunday.
The Prime Minister said the PML will be holding 100 years celebrations of its establishment next year and the PML office-bearers would have a key role in this regard. The Prime Minister, who has been made head of the centenary celebrations committee of the PML, said focus of these celebrations is to familiarise the younger generation of sacrifices and the important role played by the PML in the creation of Pakistan.
The PML president said these celebrations will be held in all parts of the country and would involve the masses countrywide.
The Prime Minister informed the PML president about his recent visit of Balochistan and Gwadar. Referring to mega projects like coastal highway, construction of international airport and other development schemes, the Prime Minister said these projects would create new job opportunities and would raise the standard of living of the people of the area.
After completion, Gwadar would become a hub of trade and activity between Central Asia and the Middle East.
