Mirwaiz urges co-operation among Kashmiri groups

All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader, Mirwaiz Omar Farooq has urged co-operation among Kashmiri groups for the solution of Kashmir issue.
"I informed President Musharraf about APHC leaders' meeting with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi last week President Musharraf also told us about his talks with various world leaders including the Indian Prime Minister," he said in reply to a question while talking to BBC.
He said, the President termed his meeting with Manmohan positive and constructive.
The President clarified that all parties should show flexibility in their stance if they wanted to move forward for a peaceful solution of the Kashmir issue, he added.
To a question he said, "We should find a way-out as how to improve the situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and provide relief to the common people who are victims of torture and brutalities. And how to resolve the issue of prisoners."
He said, "There is also an issue of powers given to the Indian Army, India bears greater responsibility to resolve these issues."
