Canada urged to take up Kashmir issue in its parliament

Former AJK Prime Minister and leader of the Opposition in AJK Legislative Assembly, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Choudry has urged upon Canadian government to take up Kashmir issue in the Canadian Parliament so that issue would be solved as early as possible.
Sultan stated this while talking to the Canadian member parliament Karolean Pareash here on Wednesday. AJK former Prime Minister discussed the core issue and latest progress on the issue between Pakistan and India.
He said that Canadian government should pressurise India for the peaceful settlement of the Kashmir issue. During the meeting Canadian member parliament Karolean Pareash said that Canada wanted peace in South Asia and observed that Kashmir dispute was the big hurdle in the peace way.
She said that President Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister Mohman Singh's meeting in New York was a step forward towards the solution and added that wishes of Kashmiris must be kept in consideration.
She told Sultan that Canada was a peace loving country also taking notice of human rights violations in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) and added that her government would take appropriate measures in this regard.
