RCMH to get status of teaching hospital

After inking a formal agreement between Red Crescent Maternity Hospital (RCMH) and the University of Faisalabad, clinical training facilities would be provided to medical students in gynaecology, obstetrics and paediatrics departments for the proposed MBBS classes by attaching the Red Crescent Maternity Hospital to the University as a teaching hospital.
The proposal was approved in principle in an executive committee meeting of the Red Crescent Faisalabad, held with DCO Athar Hussain Khan Sial in the chair.
The meeting has also set up a sub-committee, comprising EDO (Health) Dr Umar Farooq, EDO (Revenue) Muhammad Ali Bloch, Honorary Secretary Red Crescent Society, Dr Bashir Ahmad, Liaquat Ali Chatha, Naseem Sadiq, Dr Tariq Mujahid and Dr Muhammad Islam, which would formulate proposals and recommendations about the draft agreement.
The committee would also submit its proposals/ draft agreement for approval to the Executive Committee within a month.
It was decided in the meeting that in future the membership of an executive committee member, who witnessed failed to attend three consecutive meetings without any cogent reason, would be cancelled.
Different matters relating to the Red Crescent Faisalabad were also discussed in the meeting and subsequent decisions on some of them were taken.
