Road accidents claim eight lives

Eight persons were killed in various road accidents occurred at various places near here on Wednesday. Usman (20) and his grandfather Amir Ali were crushed to death by a speedy trailer near Faisalabad Airport on Jhang road.
According to police both were going to hospital on a motorcycle. Trailer driver fled leaving behind the vehicle No SAG-6145. Police were investigating the case.
Another accident reported near Chak 200-RB on bypass road, where a car, truck and tractor trolley collided in which a local businessman Zubair Ahmad died on the spot, while his two injured colleagues Nasir Ahmad and Zahid were removed to Allied hospital in critical condition.
The truck fully loaded with cotton bales over turned and driver fled away from the scene. Traffic on this road remained closed for three hours.
A student of primary school, Jahan Zaib was died when a speedy oil tanker hit him. He was trying to cross the road near Abbaspur.
One Saleemullah was crushed to death by a car near Chak 102-RB, while Umer Hayat was died in road mishap near Gokhuwal.
Two motorists Sheikh Abid Hussain and his cousin Akram were died on the spot, when their bike collided with a tractor trolley near Thata Mohalla Jhang.
