Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Saturday said the government was committed to development of rural Sindh and was concentrating and encouraging the agriculture sector to accelerate pace of development and benefit the common people.
He was talking to Privatisation Minister Hafeez Shaikh who along with Junaid Soomro called on him at the PM House to discuss issues relating to their areas as well as development projects. Shaukat Aziz said the government was focusing on providing basic amenities in the rural areas like schools, hospitals, clean drinking water, sanitation, and improve the infrastructure.
He said that people should elect honest, dedicated and selfless people in the local bodies' elections so that they can serve them.
