Bomb blasts condemned

Qasim Zia Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly has condemned recent bomb blasts in the city and termed the loss of precious lives as tragic. Talking to newsmen, Qasim condemned failure of the provincial government in curbing lawlessness and said that government had failed to curb crimes.
He said it was unfortunate that provincial government that was taking pride in sweeping local body elections with all its negative manoeuvres had shown little respect for security of its ordinary citizens.
Qasim said that inflation, water problems, higher gasoline bills had wrecked nerves of ordinary people and with poor performance of present government there was no respite to the situation, he added.
