The reception will be followed by a telephonic address, they added.
They said it was for the first time that the MQM-backed Haq Parast Panel had won over 500-600 seats in local bodies elections in Punjab, which is manifestation of Punjab people's trust in the policies of MQM and its leader Altaf Hussain.
"We have come to Punjab with the message of love and brotherhood and people of this province have warmly responded to our gesture, which is evident from the victory of our more than 500 councilors, Naib Nazims and prospective Nazims, said Tahir Mashahi, member of MQM Re-organisation Committee for Punjab.
The very secret of popularity of MQM and its leader Altaf Hussain is his love for middle and lower middle class and that is why his popularity has increased with the passage of time, Mashhadi said.
Now, like people of Sindh, he will be fighting for the middle and lower middle class in Punjab. The day is not far when common man of Punjab will also be sitting in the assemblies, he remarked.
