Pakistan Muslim League President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain along with Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chief Minister of Punjab and Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Chief Minister of Sindh, called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz here at the Prime Minister House.
They discussed with the Prime Minister various issues including local bodies election, political situation and development projects.
Shaukat Aziz said that the government is committed to accelerate the pace of development in the country and had allocated record amount for this purpose in the current budget.
He further said that the Khushhal Pakistan Programme will provide basic amenities like clean drinking water, roads, gas and electricity besides education and health with a view to improve the living standard of the people.
