42 killed as bus plunges in gorge in Indian occupied Kashmir

At least 42 passengers were killed and 44 received injuries on Thursday when an overcrowded bus skidded of a mountain road and plunged into a gorge in occupied Kashmir, police said.
The accident occurred in the Doda district, 165km north of occupied Jammu, senior police officer Ahmed Parvez Mirza said, amending the earlier toll of 22 killed and 27 injured.
Witnesses told police that the bus was overcrowded with pilgrims on their way to a holy site visited by people who suffer from skin ailments.
