Visiting Japanese expert Sato Kazuchika has said exports from Pakistan could be increased significantly by improving the quality of products, and enhancing productivity in industrial sector.
Pakistan Industrial Technical Assistance Center (Pitac) and Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) here jointly organised the 'Total Quality Control' seminar.
Speaking at a seminar on Sato said good management of human resources and better utilisation of machinery and tools could prove a key to efficient working of a company or industrial unit.
He also spoke on the basic philosophy of good management, use of simple tools at work places, and improvement of methods for good quality and productivity.
JICA Project-II (Plastic Injection Mould Technology Development Project) Project Manager Engr Sarfaraz Ahmad elaborated the working of project on Balancing and Modernisation of Workshop Facilities at Pitac on this occasion.
The seminar was participated by about 250 professionals presently working with the industries like pharmaceuticals, leather, light engineering, information technology, consultancy, banking, accountancy, textiles, teaching, tractor manufacturing and electronics sectors besides a number of students from different universities of engineering and technology.
