Car lifters' gang busted

Punjab police busted a gang of car snatchers and recovered ten cars and sophisticated arms from their possession. SSP Lahore, Amir Zulfiqar told newsmen here on Friday that the accused Sarshar Khan alias Shahid, Muhammad Waseem alias Imran and Muhammad Sarfraz were required to police in a number of cases.
The accused confessed snatching of 35 cars and killing two persons during the incidents from various parts of the city, including Mozang, Johar Town, Race Course, Sarwar Road, Garden Town, Model Town, Shadman, Muslim Town, Faisal Town, Ghalib Market and Gulberg.
SSP has announced cash and appreciation certificates for the raiding party.
