The Mobilink sponsored a community awareness programme at Lok Virsa Islamabad with regard to celebrating three years of social entrepreneurship in Pakistan by the National Commission of Human Development (NCHD), which organized a cultural show, including a musical performance as its main event, a press release said on Friday.
The exclusive event revolved around human development in the country; the release said adding the completion of third year of NCHD coincided with up-gradation of Pakistan's ranking in the Human Development Index on global scale. It further said the main focus of the Commission during its third year was the community awareness.
"The event marked the great achievements of the NCHD and Mobilink takes pride in being able to contribute to this," said Mobilink Director Marketing Bilal Munir Sheikh.
It is to be mentioned Mobilink had always maintained an impressive corporate social responsibility profile by sponsoring a number of healthy sports activities besides, heavily donating to charity organisations working in health and education sectors.
