Hurriyat Conference (A) Chairman Mirwaiz Omar has received an invitation for participation in conference on Kashmir in Brussels, capital of Belgium. "Mirwaiz has been invited for discussions on Kashmir issue by European Union and Kashmir Centre at Brussels at a meeting on October 3 and 4," Hurriyat (A) spokesman said in a statement.
Besides Mirwaiz, political leaders, scholars, journalists, representatives of Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) and European Parliament members and commission and council will attend the meeting.
"Efforts would be made to discuss a peaceful and permanent solution of Kashmir issue which is acceptable to all the three parties," the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, Mirwaiz Omar Farooq has offered condolences to the bereaved families who lost their members in a road accident near Ramban.
