Demand for Bangladesh teas was mostly firm and dearer at the weekly auction on Tuesday. Buyers from Afghanistan, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Pakistan and Bangladesh participated in the auction.
"There was more activity in this week's sale from blender and packeteers," said a market report by the National Brokers Limited (NBL), the country's largest tea broker. The next weekly auction will be held on October 11.
