Indian former general visits native house in Sialkot

Lieutenant General Kapeet Singh Suri (Retd) of India and his wife Kasoun Singh Suri visited his native house in Sialkot city's Pooran Nagar locality to recall his pre-partition memories here on Monday.
He met with his old friends and exchanged gifts and sweets. While, talking to the newsmen on the occasion, Lieutenant General Kapeet Singh Suri expressed satisfaction over the ongoing Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) between Pakistan and India.
He hoped that these CBMs would be fruitful and helpful in establishing the sustainable and durable peace in the Sub Continent, besides, resolving all the prolonged burning issues between the two neighbours.
