A delegation of the European Union (EU) will visit Jammu and Kashmir for the four days to get first hand information about the situation there and will have meetings with political leaders and state government officials.
An EU troika delegation met Home Minister Shivraj Patil here and discussed with him the details of their proposed visit to J&K. The five-member delegation included British High Commissioner in India, Sir Michael Arthur, head of the delegation at European Commission (EC) Francisco da Camara Gomes, Austrian Ambassador to India Dr Jatta Stefan Basti and Finnish Embassy official Ms Anna Kaisa, daily Excelsior reported.
