Peshawar and Hiroshima universities to promote joint research

University of Peshawar and Hiroshima University Japan inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for establishing academic linkage and promoting joint research.
Giving details of MoU Director Quality Enhancement Cell Professor Dr Muhammad Irfan said that the MoU covered joint co-operation on various activities that include promotion of joint research programmes, exchange of faculty and administrative staff, exchange of students, mutual exchange of research outcomes, academic publications and other academic information.
He informed that various other academic and educational exchange programmes approved as suitable by both universities will be part of the MoU.
Dr Irfan while appreciating the efforts of Professor Dr Imdadullah of Department of Chemistry for his efforts in establishing linkage programme hoped that the agreement would be beneficial for both the faculty and students of the university. Dr Irfan said that the academic exchange programme is b/w two faculties of the university. Faculty of Numerical and Physical Sciences of University of Peshawar and Graduate School of Science, Hiroshima University of Japan.
Dean faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences Professor Dr Haroon Rashid and Professor Dr Muhammad Iqbal, Dean Faculty of Physical Sciences signed the agreement from University of Peshawar while Hiroshima University Professor Hiroshi Shimizu, Dean Graduate School of Science represented Government of Japan.
