Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has announced donation of Rs 1.5 million and one day's pay of officers to the President's Relief Fund for the victims of earthquake. Besides, Pakistan Rangers to set up relief camp for collection of relief goods for the victims.
According to a news release issued here on Sunday, Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Major General Javed Zia has expressed grief over the loss of lives due to earthquake in many parts of country.
He said that Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) stands side by side their brethren at this difficult time.
The Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has also despatched a contingent of troops along with medicines and blankets to Azad Kashmir for the help of earthquake victims.
On the other hand, Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) troops already present in Northern Areas have been instructed to extend all possible help to the earthquake victims.
Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has also established six relief camps in Sindh at following places for collection of donation:- Headquarters Bhittai Rangers, KTC Buildinq Malir Halt. Karachi, (021-9248938), Headquarters Sachal Rangers, Shahid Shaheed park Gulberg, Karachi, (021-9246209), Headquarters Abdulllah Shah Ghazi Rangers, Nursery Chowk PECSH, Karachi, (021-4389559), Headquarters Qasim Rangers, Barrage Colony Qasim Chowk, Hyderabad, (0222-2633641), Headquarters Indus Rangers, Near Habib Sugar Mills, Nawah Shah, (0241-9370277) and Headquarters Shahbaz Rangers, Barrage Colony Military Road, Sukkur, (071-9310436).
Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has also appealed to the general public to deposit their donations in these camps in order to help the earthquake victims.
