Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 137,408 tonnes of cargo including 121,888 tonnes import and 16,520 tonnes export cargo including 1,955 containers during last 48 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 107,929 tonnes dry cargo including 72,770 tonnes general cargo; 12,759 tonnes sugar; 20,951 tonnes fertiliser; 1,449 tonnes cement and 30,479 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Ten ships namely Wan Hai-265, Mare Gallicum, Maersk Arizona, MT Swat, Anjum, Al-Marwah, Global Prosperity, Rickmers Chennal, Great Calm and Fonthida Naree sailed out to sea during the report period.
Eleven vessels viz Global Prosperity, Al-Marwah, Mare Gallicum, Itha Bum, Kudam, Kota Jasa, Ping Jiang, Medi Leric, Southern Imperial, Guang Hua Men and Thor Captain are currently at the berths.
Five ships namely Carolina, Fifi Queen, Dove Castle, Southern Imperial and Guang Hua Men expected to sail on Monday, while five vessels viz Capetan Tassos, Kota Jasa, Kudam, Ponl Buenos Aries and Uang Jiang He expected to sail on Tuesday.
Five vessels viz MT Johar, Uang Jiang He, Teo, Bright Sun and Pacific Acadian due to arrive on Monday, while seven ships namely Majori, Apl Pusan, YM Moon, Iran Sattari, Tai He, Sea Blessing and Gant Star are due to arrive on Tuesday.

The cargo comprised of 7,173 tonnes edible oil; 1,312 tonnes wheat; 2,021 tonnes sugar; 1,627 tonnes rice; 1,068 tonnes seeds; 12,666 tonnes iron ore and 52,666 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely CV San Clemente, MT Jain She-31, Energy Champion and Joous Age sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while container vessel Msc Socotra is expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
A total of two vessels viz Golden Ocean and Tian Da are currently at the outer anchorage.
Container vessel Sealnd Mariner due to take berth on Monday.
Three ships namely MT Warbah, Hannibal-II and Yanaseni with diesel oil and chemicals due to arrive on Monday.
