The Collectorate of Customs (Export) has laid down a procedure for handling of export shipments at the National Logistic Cell (NLC) container terminal (NLCCT) on Mai Kolachi Road, Karachi.
A standing order issued by the Collectorate on October 8 said that in order to facilitate the movement of export shipments from the NLC terminal authorised vide SRO 422 dated 11-05-2005 a procedure has been devised to be followed by the all concerned. Accordingly all exporters or their customs agents would get the goods declaration (GD) manifested and processed at MI Yard, West Wharf at the Karachi Port.
