Rescued survivor Khalida Bibi is greeted by her grandson Talha and son Mamoon on arrival at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences here, on Tuesday.
She was one of two women who were rescued nearly 80 hours after being buried beneath a mountain of rubble when their apartment block at the Margalla Towers collapsed on October 8 during the 7.6 magnitude earthquake.
British rescuers worked for 10 hours to extract Khalida and her elderly mother after detecting their faint voices beneath the collapsed building.
