As many as 172 earthquake wounded people of Bala Kot, Rawala Kot, Bagh and Muzaffarabad were airlifted to CMH Gunjranwala for treatment on Tuesday. Army doctors operated 103 seriously injured persons and now they are stable. The condition of 20 injured persons is critical.
The injured were brought by army helicopters and C-130 planes. As many as 49 injured persons were given treatment and given lodging and boarding facilities outside hospital.
Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Mohammad Sabir visited the CMH to enquire about the health of injured persons. The earthquake victims praised the army jawans for taking care of them in this hour of need.
