Income tax officers urged to help quake victims

Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Taxation Club Abrar Ahmed has appealed to the income tax officers to contribute generously to the relief fund of earthquake affected people.
In an appeal to all Commissioners of Income Tax (CITs) Abrar said that the worst earthquake has caused widespread destruction in northern areas of the country causing massive damage and destruction leaving thousands dead and millions homeless.
In this hour of trial the country calls upon its people to get united and come to the rescue of their grief stricken fellow brethren, he added.
He has requested the all officers and staff to send their contribution to the respective zonal chiefs by October 12.
Meanwhile, the staff and officers of the Regional Commissioner of Income Tax (RCIT) Southern Region has donated their two days salary in Presidents Earthquake Relief Fund.
