The Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has contributed Rs 20 million towards President's Relief Fund for the victims of the worst-ever earthquake that hit the country.
All the PPL staff and employees have also contributed their one-day salary to the President's Relief Fund.
Moreover, the PPL has also dispatched a consignment of emergency relief goods, including tents, blankets, biscuits, medicines, and dry milk for the survivors of the tragedy that flattened entire villages and towns in northern parts of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
A PPL team of doctors and paramedics, headed by a surgeon, has also left for Balakot in North West Frontier Province, which is one of the worst-hit areas.
The PPL management and its employees stand by the nation in this hour of national grief and sorrow. The company, under its corporate social responsibility programme, remains committed to play its role in alleviating the sufferings of the quake-victims.-PR
