Ufone sending goods to quake-hit areas

Leading cellular service provider (PTML) Ufone, in collaboration with the armed forces, is sending food items, camps, tents and medicines to the earthquake affected areas, a press release issued by the company here on Wednesday said.
In a gesture of solidarity with those affected by worst ever calamity that hit Pakistan on Saturday, Ufone is providing free communication to the earthquake victims and their families by establishing free PCOs at different places, including Abbotabad, Mansehra, PIMs, Islamabad, and General Hospital, Rawalpindi.
Ufone employees have also arranged vehicles for the transportation of injured to hospitals and relief goods to the affected areas in addition to donating their one-day salary to be deposited in President's Earthquake Relief Fund.-PR
