Egypt interbank rate falls

The median overnight interbank rate on the Egyptian pound was almost unchanged at 9.25 percent on Sunday compared to Thursday's 9.286 percent amid slow trading conditions, traders said.
Four of the eight banks contacted by Reuters dealt overnight at rates of between 9.05 and 9.35 percent, compared to between 9.1 and 9.5 percent on Thursday.
None of the banks had dealt in one-week money. Three banks dealt one-week money on Thursday, at rates of between 9.25 and 9.625.
By 1100 GMT, the pound was almost unchanged against the dollar at 5.7548 pounds, compared to Thursday's weighted average of 5.7542 pounds.
