The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Sindh Branch, has offered facilities to the donors and relief collectors to dispatch their collection from warehouses established at Saddar and Landhi No 3 here.
A PRCS statement on Monday said the relief consignments are immediately dispatched to quake-hit areas through available transportation by air, road or train.
It said that the relief items are distributed among the quake victims under the supervision of the army personnel.
The statement also pointed out that the necessary requirements of the affected people are tents, blankets, medicines, sweaters, woollen clothings, canvas shoes, torches with cells, stoves, match-boxes, candles, etc.
It said that the Red Crescent is committed to humanitarian services round the clock and that its Sindh branch is serving the quake-hit people in the NWFP, Northern Areas, and Azad Kashmir.
The Red Crescent Society has also established a long-term relief camp inside Hilal-i-Ahmed House opposite Teen Talwar in Clifton here.
