Donor agencies urged to write off loans

Citizen Relief Committee, a newly constituted body, has demanded of the international donor agencies to write off its loans for Pakistan, and also provide funds for rehabilitation of quake victims.
A resolution to this effect was adopted in a meeting of the committee held here on Monday. The meeting also asked the Pakistani government to take up the matter with the international donor agencies for writing off its outstanding loans. It also demanded of the government to constitute a parliamentarian inquiry commission to ensure rehabilitation of quake victims.
