Buying spree grips ISE

Fresh buying spree in trend-setters moved the entire ready-board in upward direction at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where retail investors and profit seekers injected fresh investment in blue chips amid increase in index.
ISE Network index showed an improvement of 31.68 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 12,059.38 to 12,091.06 points. The overall volume amounted to 11,58,800 shares as compared to previous turnover of 14,98,100 shares.
Total 133 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (72) closed in positive territory, 58 landed in minus zone, whereas 3 companies remained pegged to its overnight level.
The turnover of PTCL was 984,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 12,53,800 shares. The volume of PSO was 562,00 shares. The turnover of Pakistan Oilfields was 469,00 shares.
