Peshawar High Court on Tuesday disqualified Malik Imran, PML (N) member of NWFP Assembly on the grounds that his Bachelor's degree was fake.
The Bench comprising Chief Justice Tariq Pervez and Justice Muhammad Qaim Jan Khan, after reserving judgement on September 22 last, announced it on Tuesday, declaring Imran as disqualified for holding the public office any more, as his Bachelor's degree was fake.
The writ petition, seeking the member's disqualification, was filed by Naqeebullah Khan, a voter in PF-75 Lakki Marwat-II.
