Moot planned on future of education in quake-hit areas

The Beacon House School System on Thursday announced to hold an international conference on 'The School of Tomorrow: Learning to Live Again' on November 30.
The conference, which would be held in Islamabad, is aimed at focusing on the future of education in the areas devastated by the recent earthquake in Azad Kashmir and NWFP. The conference will help compile suggestions as to what can be done for the education of the children who have survived in the earthquake. A renowned architect Gulzar Ahmad will explain how we can rebuild schools; said CEO Asim Kasuri in a statement issued here on Thursday.
Beacon House has contributed Rs 10 million to the President's Earthquake Relief Fund and has also sent medical teams and supplies to the worst affected areas.
