A sum of Rs 14.1 million has been allocated from the Export Development Fund (EDF) for the promotion of Gujrat's fans industry.
Punjab Minister for Industries, Muhammad Ajmal Cheema while talking to the newsmen here Friday said that out of this grant Rs 1.8 million would be spent on the renovation of Fan Development Institute Gujrat's building, while Rs 12.3 million would be spent on importing the ultra-modern machinery for developing fan industry of Gujrat.
